Full Moon in Taurus 2026: A Hunter's Moon Message for the Collective
Beloved collective, today the sky gives us a moment to pause. The Moon became full in Taurus at 12:11 a.m. Eastern time on October 26, 2026. It is also the Hunter's Moon, and it sits directly across from the Sun in Scorpio, just a few days into Scorpio season. With God's help, I want to share what I am sensing so we can walk through this day together.
What this full moon is about
Taurus is the sign of steadiness, comfort, the body and our sense of worth. It asks a simple question: what makes you feel safe, grounded and valued? Scorpio, across the sky, is the sign of depth, release and transformation. It asks what you are still holding that no longer serves you. When the two meet in a full moon, many people feel an invitation to let go honestly and then to settle into what truly supports them.
A full moon is a time when things come to light, and that can feel tender. If emotions are rising, you are not doing anything wrong. Often what rises is simply ready to be seen, named and handed over to God with love. Chiron is also retrograde at this time, and many astrologers connect Chiron with old wounds and healing. If something from the past stirs, be gentle with yourself. Healing is rarely a straight line, and you are allowed to move at a pace that feels kind.
Five gentle reflections for today
Take your time with these. Write your answers in a journal, pray over them, or simply hold them quietly in your heart.
1. What am I ready to release? Think of a worry, a habit, a grudge or a story about yourself that has grown heavy. You do not have to fix it today. Naming it is enough.
2. What makes me feel safe and worthy? Taurus reminds us that worth is not something we earn. List three things that help you feel steady, and thank God for each one.
3. How can I care for my body this week? Drink water, rest, take a slow walk, eat something nourishing. Our bodies carry us through every season, and they deserve tenderness.
4. How can I make my home a place of peace? A tidy corner, a candle, soft music or a quiet space for prayer. Small comforts count.
5. Where is honesty asking for room? Scorpio invites truth. Is there a conversation to be had with kindness, or a boundary to be held with love?
A simple moon practice
If the sky is clear tonight, step outside or sit by a window and look at the Moon. Take three slow breaths. Say aloud, or silently, what you are releasing. Then place a hand on your heart and say what you are welcoming in. There is no wrong way to do this. Your intention and your faith are what matter.
A blessing for the collective
Heavenly Father, thank You for this full moon and for every person reading these words. Where we are carrying more than we were meant to carry, help us set it down. Where we feel unworthy, remind us that we are Your beloved. Ground our steps, soften our hearts, and bring us peace in our bodies, our homes and our relationships. Show us what to release, and give us the courage to trust You with it. May we rest in Your care this week. Amen.
Walking with you in God's grace, with love, light and faith,
Gladys, AngelWorks3110
